Sri Adi Parashakti DeviAdi Parashakti (Sanskrit: आदि पराशक्ति, IAST: Ādi Parāśakti) is considered the Supreme Being in the Shaktism sect of Hinduism. She is also popularly referred to as "Parama Shakti", "Adi Shakti", "Maha Shakti", "Mahadevi", "Mahagauri, "Mahasaraswati", "Mahalakshmi", "Mahakali" Satyam Shakti or even simply as "Shakti". "Parama" means absolute, "Satya" means the Truth as per many Shakta texts.[5] The Devi-Bhagavata Purana states that Adi Parashakti is the original creator, observer and destroyer of the whole universe. It is also believed that Goddess Parvati is the complete and direct incarnation of Adi Parashakti.

Adi parashakti and Sai temple is the only temple in the West Coast of USA dedicated to worshiping Maha Shakti, Adi Parashakti is the original creator, observer and destroyer of the whole universe.

This temple also dedicates itself to promoting and improving vedic culture, yoga and meditation

Adi Parashakti Sai Educational Center, is a non-profit association that caters to the religious, cultural and educational needs of Indian and non Indian families in the Portland metro area. The goals of the organization are:

  • Promote cultural awareness by organizing classes and programs
  • Promote vedic culture and rituals
  • Promote mindfulness and self healing by organizing yoga and meditation classes
